An armchair/character, with an organic outline, perhaps anthropomorphous, conceived with leather directly fixed on a fiberglass skeleton. A tribute, to the great Carlo Mollino and to the Danish design of the 50s, led by Starck with impeccable mastery. The frame is the result of a complex and skilful construction: a first outer shell made of […]
Even a classical image, as a railed chair, in the hands of Philippe Starck acquires a particular connotation. In Pip-e, the sequence of horizontal elements, which create the seat and back definetly, takes on a strong chiaroscuro and goes, unexpectedly, to accompany the bending of the knees.
Many years ago, at its beginning, Lord Yo was simply a polypropylene easy chair with an aluminum structure, now it’s an icon. Recognized and recognizable anywhere and by anyone. Rama is the outcome of the meticulous details of the designers and the technology used by Kristalia from the outset: a return to wood processing, typical of the area where Kristalia is based. The chair features clear-cut lines that are also warm and attractive, perfectly matching the style of Kristalia.
The name comes from the two “fins†at the rear of the chair, the coupling between the frame and the base. The Sharky chair is the winner of the Interior Innovation Award 2015.
Organic lines. Elegantly understated details. Spanning across dining, bar and lounge typologies. The Folium seating series emulates the natural shape of leaves, translating them into a modernly timeless design for professional projects and homes alike.
In a table, oval means perfect: no edge, no head of the table, no diner and, above all, a form expanded in space. Antonia Astori balance then the top elegant simplicity with a sculptural base made of a malleable as contemporary material.
