This project is born from the wish to recover rattan as a fine material and reclaim Spain?s rich craftsmanship tradition. Oscar Tusquets tries to give a new look to an ancient technique replacing the brackets and bonds traditionally used as connecting elements by the twinning of one cane to the next.
The Overlap sofa is inspired by the natural riff formations around island like the Maldives. A place of comfort and coziness defined by the shape of the backrest defining the seating area. Smartly proportioned with minimal detailing.
The sofa of Clever collection represents the right balance between practicality and comfort. An easy to manage, light structure but extremely resistant and with an ergonomic design.
