Bufa takes its name from the balloons, the concept starts from designing a sofa with a large soft body where you can relax and unwind at home. It is the starting point of an organic design with big volumes, but at the same time, light due to the round and fluid shapes.

The inspiration of the moon console draws from the changing phases of moon. The sliding door resembles the phase from new moon to full moon. The repeating changes induce romantic reveries. Fun can be found at the entrance when small objects like keys are placed properly.
The chair, inspired by a model from 1930 by Josef Hoffmann, blends his interest in Art Nouveau and simple shapes with manufacturing processes applied in Bystrice pod Hostynem since 1861. The armchair is therefore more geometrical, but bears the clear features of the manual bending technique of TON.
