Designed by Vico Magistretti
Eclisse, designed by Vico Magistretti in 1965 and awarded the Compasso d?Oro in 1967, has become a global icon of Italian design. A pioneering balance of form and function, design and utility, Eclisse stands out for its clever light control system: with a fixed outer shell and a rotating inner shade, the lamp allows the light source to be “eclipsed,” offering both direct and diffused illumination. Now, Eclisse is reimagined in an extraordinary Special Edition in collaboration with Netflix, inspired by the bold visual universe of Squid Game, the global phenomenon that captivated millions. This edition features three exclusive versions, each representing one of the series? iconic roles: the Player, the Pink Guard and the Black Officer. Each variant comes in a special color palette with distinctive design details that faithfully reflect the characters’ looks. The Pink Guard and Black Officer editions also include a removable magnetic mask, a striking homage to the series’ mysterious and powerful visual identity without altering the lamp?s original design. Eclisse x Squid Game it?s a collector?s piece where visionary design meets contemporary pop culture, bringing light and storytelling together in a truly unique object.

As admirer of Alexander Calder, in 1951 Schottlander created the Mantis series of lamps. Movement is intrinsic to all of Schottlander’s work: an artist, an engineer and in no small measure a handyman, he devised a clever system of counterweights combined with a series of strong, and flexible metal bars. The shade also is unique […]

Lesbo designed in 1967 represents one of the symbols of the made in Italy design of the 70s, characterized by its particular mushroom shape.
