Very lucidly, Enzo Mari decided to realize this tables collection with transparent crystal tops in order to valorise the harsh simplicity of steel sections bases. Designed in 1973 for Driade, uninterruptedly producted since then, these pieces can be certainly numbered among the most successful of the Milan master.
The deconstructed structure, obtained in the legs by the crossing of three different profiles – round, oval and square – refers to a recycling approach of materials from different processes.
The table has been inspired by the dynamism of a moving element, like the ribbon of a gymnast that vaults in the air drawing natural and soft shapes. Its original look furnishes the living area with a touch of essential harmony.
