Very lucidly, Enzo Mari decided to realize this tables collection with transparent crystal tops in order to valorise the harsh simplicity of steel sections bases. Designed in 1973 for Driade, uninterruptedly producted since then, these pieces can be certainly numbered among the most successful of the Milan master.
The SELF table base has soft and rounded shapes, it combines solidity and style; versatile to use both indoors and outdoors. The metal or HPL top, personalizes the environments, both round and square, with many variations and possibilities.
With its dramatic sculptural elements balanced by an overall minimalist, neutral styling, the Bold desk is an eye-catcher. Grouped cylindrical legs support a long, slender tabletop, making for an intriguing and elegant contrast.
