The Film chair strikes an interesting silhouette between minimalistic and surprising. Created in 1958 for the interior of the Chamber of Commerce of Milan, this chair is designed to combine comfort and stackability. The same concept was revived for contemporary settings, but with a fundamental difference: unlike the iron frame of the original project, it is now in warm ash wood.
This minimalist and highly elaborate chair is a re-design of the classic model No. 14. The designer divided its six pieces by two and 002 emerged – a chair made from only three pieces. Two of them – the manually processed bends – are identical and form legs, backrest and armrests all in one.
