It is based on manually bent split lengths of massive wood; which, at the same time, are both a design and functional element of seating furniture – it supports the seat and also the backrest. It is elegantly slid in, behind the seat made also from massive wood.

Nives is inspired by the idea of a coastal landscape with its bends lapped by the sea. With a wide wraparound backrest, ethereal,sunny and elegant, it has a high level of comfort for every occasion at home and in the contract sector.
The chair, inspired by a model from 1930 by Josef Hoffmann, blends his interest in Art Nouveau and simple shapes with manufacturing processes applied in Bystrice pod Hostynem since 1861. The armchair is therefore more geometrical, but bears the clear features of the manual bending technique of TON.
