Split expresses an elegant, immediately recognisable character, aside from its size, form and colour that lend coherence to the most diverse solutions and compositions in any given space. This is the concept behind the Split collection, a complete system of tables for both the home and contract interior, available in four different forms: coffee table, meeting table, bar table and low occasional table. Split comes in a range of shapes – round, elliptical, square, rectangular – and in a variety of finishes that allow one to create a coordinated look in either colour or monochrome.

The Merano chair combines the bottom design made of solid wood with harmonic shapes of bent plywood in the seat and backrest. The seat section of uniform plywood is broken by the unconventional connections between the legs. The legs pass through the seat emphasizing the structural construction which is also a design detail. The effect is outstanding in the two-color version.
