An historical project that fascinates us once again thanks to the current ergonomic value of the split between the headrest and lumbar support: an advanced concept for its time when it was presented, now made even more effective by modern upholstery in varying degrees of thickness. The curved tubular structure, typical example of twentieth century design culture, is even more fun and expressive to touch and look at thanks to its modern coloured trim.

Kabu, curve in Japanese. With this name, I stress the conceptual process of the collection design. The light structure is dressed up with a technical fabric that becomes skin and wrap. The curvature generated as a result of the fabric tension on the structure highlights the desire for a lightweight, upholstered frame.
