One thing is true, though: inspiration is a source of inspiration.” With these words – at the same time playful and profound – designers Marten Claesson, Eero Koivisto and Ola Rune sum up the coming into being of the Kelly project – a new chapter in their collaboration with Tacchini. Pure and bright colors, organic shapes, friendly and wholesome feelings enliven a wealth of sensible furnishing suggestions for domestic spaces and public areas, thanks to the unique blend of creativity harnessed by the Swedish designers and the sheer quality, team-working skills and attention to detail that have always distinguished this Italian company. Three seating furnishings are showcased: each with its own personality, playing on different-sized backrests and seats, suspended upon sleek metal frames, melding vintage settings and modern art inspirations. Their shapes, as well as color shades available are designed to stand alone or to conjure freely-inspired matches and compositions – whether in the home or in the world of contract supplies.

Carefully designed shapes and sizes for all-round comfort: this is the guiding principle behind the Montevideo sofa. Armrests and backrest trace a soft and cozy outline, complete with feather cushions supporting your lower back. Ergonomic and elegant, the Montevideo sofa is also paired with a matching armchair.
A system consisting of sofas and armchairs in different sizes, with a markedly sleek shape to receive the body nicely. Extra comfort is given by the large lumbar supporting cushion on the ample seat. Elegantly thin are the feet at the base of the frame, adding a touch of dynamism to the coziness.
The Doodle concept lies in a unique stitching design. A family of organically shaped seating furniture dressed with a padded removable cover. The irregular pattern follows the silhouette of the seat and meanders inwards towards the centre.
The Hari stool, available in two different heights, inspired by the world of textile looms, with a very industrial aesthetic combined with the delicacy of the threads to create a subtle and elegant chair.
The Tokyo-Pop collection marks, in 2002, the debut on the international scene by Tokujin Yoshioka, now considered one of the masters of contemporary design. Created in 1958 for the interior of the Chamber of Commerce of Milan, this chair is designed to combine comfort and stackability. The same concept was revived for contemporary settings, but with a fundamental difference: unlike the iron frame of the original project, it is now in warm ash wood.
