The quilted fabric does not merely act as a cover, but becomes a soft and cozy body whose rounded edges recall the elegance of a jacket lapel. Inspired by the Scandinavian heritage of design and furniture craftmanship, In Between is a result of Sami KallioÕs solid grounding in traditional wood- working techniques and his eye for ingenious detail. It started with a single chair which later resulted in a series of furniture including both tables and bar stools.
Created to complement the homonymous chair, Toy table, lives, indeed, an independent life thanks to the elegance of its stem, strongly tapered. A detail which, combined with the soft lines of connection with the top and the base, gives the piece an intense classical connotation.
