Enveloping, cozy, and as inviting as an island out at sea, this armchair is marked by a more organic shape and loosely structured frame. Carefully designed shapes and sizes for all-round comfort: this is the guiding principle behind the Montevideo sofa. Armrests and backrest trace a soft and cozy outline, complete with feather cushions supporting your lower back. Ergonomic and elegant, the Montevideo sofa is also paired with a matching armchair.
The Doodle concept lies in a unique stitching design. A family of organically shaped seating furniture dressed with a padded removable cover. The irregular pattern follows the silhouette of the seat and meanders inwards towards the centre.
Even a classical image, as a railed chair, in the hands of Philippe Starck acquires a particular connotation. In Pip-e, the sequence of horizontal elements, which create the seat and back definetly, takes on a strong chiaroscuro and goes, unexpectedly, to accompany the bending of the knees.
The Merano chair combines the bottom design made of solid wood with harmonic shapes of bent plywood in the seat and backrest. Thanks to the production technology used, it is remarkably light and does not contain any screws or metal pieces. Together with the bar stool, it creates a set with the Merano armchair.
