Lazada
Designed by Pearson Lloyd
A steel bar with a vaguely industrial feel, onto which one can fasten elements made of highly characterful materials: wood, leather, fabric and metal painted in primary geometric forms that give rise to always different architectures, both fascinating and surprising. Galleria is the new project by the Pearson Lloyd studio for Tacchini: a system that lets you create any solution from a simple linear bench, to an angular two-seater, to a peaceful island as a waiting area, or designed for relaxation and conviviality. Each composition can be used as stand-alone or in groups, in an effort to simplify and at the same time enhance the public spaces of any size, in keeping with its architecture, its routes and its functions. A language rich in colors and materials can arouse a wealth of emotions: from natural tones to classic shades, right through to the more vivid and unconventional hues.

A keen observation of nature and the study of contemporary environments has inspired the London studio Pearson Lloyd in creating a highly original and timeless item, capable of bringing a fresh, new perspective in fulfilling everyday needs: helping us to live better, but also to look beyond the mere objects themselves and the clichés attached […]
Pearson Lloyd’s London studio has created a project that intends to translate the immateriality of space into a physical fun shifting, fascinating and temporary reality. “Nebula “includes a series of separating flat elements, two-dimensional and graphic, but also architectural, three-dimensional and plastic ones. “Nebula” borders and divides, but at the same time connects and gives […]
Fixie is a stool featuring a functional tubular structure which deeply identifies the product, making it instantly recognizable as a 3D graphic pattern or a furniture sculpture. This effect is enriched by original colours making Fixie definitely unique. The aesthetic quality does not hide its functionality: the stool is adjustable in height and it’s 360° […]
Oblique corners reminding of ancient obelisk shapes, creating an architectural play of light and shadow. Full volumes seem to float above the floor, on hidden base. Crystal is a collection of sofas and armchairs away from ordinary standards and clichés which gives birth to a suspended and dynamic effect with no need of aesthetical devices. […]

After experimenting for years with the concept of a laminated wooden frame inspired by old wooden tennis rackets, Danish design duo Hvidt & Molgaard released X in 1959, a lounge chair with a distinctive sloping silhouette and understated aesthetic.

Showcasing a soft, inviting character, the RFH Lounge Chair follows the same design principles as the RFH Armchair. Small in footprint, part of the chair’s charm lies in its low and compact form, offering a lounge piece with a striking silhouette that can be placed in the most modest of spaces.
Created in 1958 for the interior of the Chamber of Commerce of Milan, this chair is designed to combine comfort and stackability. The same concept was revived for contemporary settings, but with a fundamental difference: unlike the iron frame of the original project, it is now in warm ash wood.
