In addition, the collection offers chairs with a range of bases and frames that increase possibilities for customisation and allow a broad spectrum of use in all kinds of spaces, settings and decorative styles. The result is essentially a collection of highly customisable chairs.

The Unnia SOFT collection originates in the combination of comfortable seats and upholstered backrests, with or without arms, with fixed or swivel bases. In keeping with the same philosophy applied to the rest of the Unnia family, seats and backrests can be combined with one or two fabrics to create original combinations.

Originally created to seat visitors in the dining rooms of the Royal Festival Hall, the RFH Armchair by Robin Day is charactericed by the softly curved backrest and outwardly reaching arms. Rich in materiality, the chair’s striking form is achieved through a process of form-press moulding layers of beech and walnut veneer.
Created in 1958 for the interior of the Chamber of Commerce of Milan, this chair is designed to combine comfort and stackability. The same concept was revived for contemporary settings, but with a fundamental difference: unlike the iron frame of the original project, it is now in warm ash wood.
