Innovative and unusual product, which its design weaves around the nautical rope taking advantage and improvisation of the nautical rope production process for the application in the furniture sector. This Elephant chair is a visual representation of the evolution of office furniture. More than just an office chair, the stylish and elegant design and cool and comfortable leather or practical plastic lining is reminiscent of a modern armchair, remodelled for the world of work.
Created in 1958 for the interior of the Chamber of Commerce of Milan, this chair is designed to combine comfort and stackability. The same concept was revived for contemporary settings, but with a fundamental difference: unlike the iron frame of the original project, it is now in warm ash wood.
