The Dot Collection combines the directness of exposed, spherical bulbs with the rich materiality of brass. Focused, geometric compositions contain these two features, balancing line, surface, and luminous points.
While the air bubbles in the glass dome of the IRIS luminaire, created by designer Sebastian Herkner, are reminiscent of underwater worlds,unlike the portable version, the on/off switch is protruding and has a knurled rotary knob. The diamond knurling gives this a tactile touch and breaks up the clean design of the aluminium base.
