Funghi is a kind of mushroom and also the inspiration for this lively table collection. It is to celebrate the mushroom forms found in forest. Blending with shiny and colorful lacquer finish, Funghi collection brings delight and surprises.
Kabu, curve in Japanese. With this name, I stress the conceptual process of the collection design. The light structure is dressed up with a technical fabric that becomes skin and wrap. The curvature generated as a result of the fabric tension on the structure highlights the desire for a lightweight, upholstered frame.
The Jom bed was created with the concept of the coromandel screen from the Tang Dynasty. It captures the traditional style of art and aesthetic while inheriting the function of sheltering, partition, and decoration. The fully upholstered bed creates a cozy feeling.
