The Overlap sofa is inspired by the natural riff formations around island like the Maldives. A place of comfort and coziness defined by the shape of the backrest defining the seating area. Smartly proportioned with minimal detailing.
The name Limea is based on a type of shell. The idea of this design is to have a nicely upholstered shell elevated by a wooden structure. The shell upholstery is clean and precise, while the seat is soft and comfortable.
The character of this design is the slight incline of a gesture of welcome and minimalistic architecture. The smooth chamfer on the edge of the wood platform base contrast the soft seam from the textile elements highlighting the characteristics of the materials.
