Kiri is a set of round accent tables combining rattan with solid wood and lacquer in an aesthetically fluent dialogue. It may be difficult to imagine how such a supple material like the rattan used to shape the base can support the weight of the wooden tops, but the fact is rattan is actually strong. The project thus intertwines the two raw materials characterizing Expormim?s identity.

Huma chair is a project trying to preserve the classic philosophy of rattan production process while engaging in a research for greater comfort through the use of flexible ribs in its shell-shaped backrest and its upholstered seat.

Originally created to seat visitors in the dining rooms of the Royal Festival Hall, the RFH Armchair by Robin Day is charactericed by the softly curved backrest and outwardly reaching arms. Rich in materiality, the chair’s striking form is achieved through a process of form-press moulding layers of beech and walnut veneer.
The Merano chair combines the bottom design made of solid wood with harmonic shapes of bent plywood in the seat and backrest. Thanks to the production technology used, it is remarkably light and does not contain any screws or metal pieces. Together with the bar stool, it creates a set with the Merano armchair.
