Realised in 1979, Kuta expresses Magistretti?s constant quest to combine simplicity and geometric rigour with an evocative lighting effect of lights and shadows.
The chair, inspired by a model from 1930 by Josef Hoffmann, blends his interest in Art Nouveau and simple shapes with manufacturing processes applied in Bystrice pod Hostynem since 1861. The armchair is therefore more geometrical, but bears the clear features of the manual bending technique of TON.
A pleasant soft and graceful design that of the Bardot collection , with a flavor of the 50s, made of full volumes, rounded lines, wooden legs and rounded corners warm the environment and at the same time create a pleasant harmony of design shapes clean a little Nordic.
