Frames has written a happy new chapter for an already old story, the same old tale of craft and tradition but within a new framework of clever design that takes advantage of a different, more joyous approach to the material. The narrative of design brings traditional outdoor furniture to the inside, adding a layer of glamour to the rustic charm of the material. What was once just a seasonal story can now be told all year round.

Comfort and distinctive are the keywords for describing the Root lounge chair. The backrest is outlined with natural and organic curves, and the irregular hollow design flows freely, making Root an iconic piece. The chair feels like a hug thanks to its softness and fluffy back. It is an invitation to relax.
Closer is an armchair with iron structure painted matt black and supported feather cushion with removable cover, fixed in the leather version. A slender but very solid metal frame welcomes the large and enveloping cushion with generous shapes, offering the maximum level of comfort.
Oblique corners reminding of ancient obelisk shapes, creating an architectural play of light and shadow. Full volumes seem to float above the floor, on hidden base. Crystal is a collection of sofas and armchairs away from ordinary standards and clichés which gives birth to a suspended and dynamic effect with no need of aesthetical devices. […]
