in the eclectic identity of Driade, i have always perceived a hint of french culture, just as i have always been fascinated by the interiors of parisian homes for their expert combination of furnishings and classical items, along with vintage pieces and contemporary objects.’ Alberto Lievore La Francesa issues from this imaginative background, a refined seat that easily blends into any setting. the legs made of ebonised european ash or natural ash support the high comfort cozy body.

With its round, enveloping shell, Armadillo is a revision of a furniture classic in rattan: the papasan. But this is a radically free and wonderfully postmodern version. Armadillo has the sympathetic shyness of the animal from which it gets its name and the unmistakable signature of the Valencian studio in its silhouette.
Design has recently begun to reread the last 80s, a period full of hedonistic sings. Ludovica and Roberto Palomba embrace this input in a collection for driade that combines some of this aesthetic hallmarks as straight cast-aluminium structure elegantly painted and damier decoration.
Created to complement the homonymous chair, Toy table, lives, indeed, an independent life thanks to the elegance of its stem, strongly tapered. A detail which, combined with the soft lines of connection with the top and the base, gives the piece an intense classical connotation.
