Metaphorically speaking, the sofa gets back to the origin of its evolution when it was nothing more than a lot of pillows on the floor or leaning on a bench. Moved by such a suggestion, Rizzatto draws actually a new form of macro capitonne where each module retains its own identity.

Defined by the pleated, oval-shaped backrest that gently embraces the rounded seat cushion, the design of the Ovata Dining Chair is inspired by the strong yet softly curved leaves of the succulent from which the design takes its name.
