A luminaire that seamlessly blends into a space without overpowering it, while evoking the timeless elegance of Art Deco, reinterpreted with a modern touch. Frank Lloyd Wright had already explored this idea with the fa?ade of the Johnson Wax Building (1936?1939), where glass tubes diffused exterior light into the interior with an almost magical softness. As admirer of Alexander Calder, in 1951 Schottlander created the Mantis series of lamps. Movement is intrinsic to all of Schottlander’s work: an artist, an engineer and in no small measure a handyman, he devised a clever system of counterweights combined with a series of strong, and flexible metal bars. The shade also is unique […]

An ode to Asian design through the lens of Scandinavian minimalism, the beauty of the Formakami pendants lies in their material delicacy. Designed by Jaime Hayon and handcrafted with paper – the airy, bulbous shape is accentuated by the grounding presence of black stained oak – a striking visual composition reflected throughout the series.

The Can Table takes the essence of the Can collection to a new level with portable functionality. It keeps the minimalist, geometric shape inspired by pre-Hispanic traditions, now with a battery that lets you move it freely around any space. Handmade, each piece has its own unique texture, and the play of light and shadow […]
