An exercise in style, refinement and essentiality, the Megara sofa comes with suede, fabric and leather covers and features a round backrest that smoothly flows into the armrest and creates a refined detail just before meeting the seat: almost a cushion sinking into the backrest. A terminal element, a day-bed and a pouf complete the set to convey an idea of full and timeless elegance. It is conceived for lovers of classic sofas who do not want to miss out on the distinct Driade’s style.

Almost a visual trick, like a frame where mass and gravity is suspended, and the slim and delicate structure support the marble top, like a hovering platform.
Very lucidly, Enzo Mari decided to realize this tables collection with transparent crystal tops in order to valorise the harsh simplicity of steel sections bases. Designed in 1973 for Driade, uninterruptedly producted since then, these pieces can be certainly numbered among the most successful of the Milan master.
Many years ago, at its beginning, Lord Yo was simply a polypropylene easy chair with an aluminum structure, now it’s an icon. Recognized and recognizable anywhere and by anyone. It took Philippe Starck to carry out such an extraordinary stunt, built with soft curves and raised back, almost a throne, and slightly bent legs. Then […]
