Harmony of shapes, elegance and ergonomics are the main features of Jazz barstool. A cosy seat, a curved and embracing backrest, supported by a thin steel frame, guarantee a great balance of proportions and profiles. Seat and backrest are separated by an opening that makes the barstool functional and gives lightness.
The deep and rounded seat invites to relax and talk. A perfect balance of the volume of the body which perfectly combines with the characteristic support structure, thus defining a new idea of ??the “cockpit” type. This project is born from the wish to recover rattan as a fine material and reclaim Spain?s rich craftsmanship tradition. Oscar Tusquets tries to give a new look to an ancient technique replacing the brackets and bonds traditionally used as connecting elements by the twinning of one cane to the next.
