The Bcn stool was the result of exploring how new materials can be used to create furniture. The main feature of the stool is the design of the seat. The seat was ergonomically designed by specialists to maximize comfort. The final shape required a huge developmental effort during the design phase.
The stool is made from a type of plastic called PBT (polybutylene terephthalate) which is rather unusual in the furniture industry. Previously, the most common use for this type of plastic was for insulation in the electronics industry because it is very strong and it is resistant to both heat and solvents. Over time the Bcn stool from Kristalia has become a design product that is recognized and appreciated not only as a stylish seat for use in your kitchen, but also it has been chosen by many architects and interior designers for use in bars, pubs, hotels and restaurants.
Finishes:
Metal base in chrome or matching seat colour, polybutylene terephthalate seat in white, black, flouro green or red coral

During those balmy Summer months, many of us choose to do our entertaining outside, so it is very important that one’s chosen garden furniture conveys a sense of style as well as functionality. This resting chair is the ideal outside companion for those who can appreciate a minimalist design scheme, as it features the very […]
The version of the Bcn stool with a disc base is an adjustable swivel stool. The modernist design of the stool by the designers, Harry & Camila, is distinctive. This is particularly apparent in the striking manner in which the seat is formed by bending back on itself in a ess-shape. An emphasis has been […]
It is a timeless chair because it comes in a material – natural hide obtained by respecting all the properties that comprise its identity – and because the project underlying this chair has the strength to challenge time: the hide will inevitably move, its texture will change and its colour will alter but the chair […]
A collection of important high tables with a rounded and regular imprint of the top and trestle legs reminiscent of the workbenches and the archetypal shape of the table. A pleasantly minimal aspect revisited by a calibrated sizing, an evident materiality and a declared solidity.
The name comes from the two “fins†at the rear of the chair, the coupling between the frame and the base. The Sharky chair is the winner of the Interior Innovation Award 2015.
Smooth and continuous lines make this padded stool a picture of simplicity while a light inner layer of polyurethane foam provides unmatchable softness. This stool was designed to provide a perfect complement to the Joko family and pairs with both the Joko chair and the Joko chair with armrests.
