The Bcn high stool was the result of exploring how new materials can be used to create furniture. The main feature of the stool is the design of the seat. The seat was ergonomically designed by specialists to maximize comfort. The final shape required a huge developmental effort during the design phase.
The stool is made from a type of plastic called PBT (polybutylene terephthalate) which is rather unusual in the furniture industry. Previously, the most common use for this type of plastic was for insulation in the electronics industry because it is very strong and it is resistant to both heat and solvents. Over time the Bcn stool from Kristalia has become a design product that is recognized and appreciated not only as a stylish seat for use in your kitchen, but also it has been chosen by many architects and interior designers for use in bars, pubs, hotels and restaurants.

The design of the Mingx collection issues from the same tubular profile that also inspired the bookcase zigzag, and develops into an extensive family of elements: seats, stools and tables, which establish a harmonious mutual dialogue that also extends to the bookcase. the name Mingx clearly refers to the Ming dynasty that most influenced the […]
Christophe Pillet has sculpted a chair with armrest for Kristalia, suited also to use inside, perhaps in a modern office or flat, as well as in a garden or on the patio of an al fresco restaurant. The chair is visually striking, not in colour, for it is both sensibly and starkly monochromatic, but in […]
The Genoa seating collection , designed by the young Cesare Ehr , expands with the stool and chair versions with armrests, also in the outdoor variant . The characterizing element is the ‘one line’ backrest, obtained by the curvature of a single metal tube which – with its virtually infinite sinuous line, extended in this […]
