Designed by Umberto Bellardi Ricci
From the first piece of bent metal, Umberto Bellardi Ricci experiments with shapes and reflections to capture and refract light as if it were coming from the curves of a spiral while the light source remains embedded in the initial fold. Designed for Tacchini, the Ancora rolled mirror captures light in the metal curves and diffuses it onto the reflective surface. Linked to the designer?s recent studies on the spiral of the golden ratio, Ancora deviates from pure geometry to become a wall mirror that brings a modern reinterpretation of sculptural light into domestic spaces.

Fackel is the German word for the medieval wall torches that released naked flames on the walls of castles and convents._ Inspired by these ancient lamps, Umberto Bellardi Ricci bends a metal bar in two points and lets it run parallel to the wall, onto which he projects a warm and suggestive glow, similar to […]
Doric is designed by Umberto Bellardi Ricci for Tacchini: a wall light that evokes the Doric columns of classical Greece and is inspired by the designer?s recent experiments with the golden spiral, or divine proportion, and curvilinear shapes and spiral shapes that can be obtained from it. Made of painted sheet metal, it emanates a […]

Gocce di rugiada is a collection of soft lines mirrors, like lots of water drops gliding from autumn leafs. This feature, together with the panel on the back that allows a 360° rotation, allows to create infinite combinations, with even newer effects. Available also in the smoked and bronzed version to get further chromatic choices.
Modules with unusual shapes give life to original seating configurations where aggregation and variability take center stage. Additional System is a project by Joe Colombo from 1967, reimagined today by Tacchini while respecting its original spirit: a modular system with timeless allure, still ?futuristic? even 50 years later. Cushions of six different sizes, inspired by […]
Quilt is born from a desire to go beyond the latest design fad, offering a system of cushioned sofas that fit perfectly into both the home and contract environment. Its quilted stitching immediately communicates a feeling of comfort and a sense of luxury. The sofa is available in different sizes with a chromed-steel base; the […]
A dense, almost mysterious light is filtered through soft and enveloping materials. Luminosity and transparencies fluctuate, creating repetitions of lights and shadows, solids, and voids. Inspired by Object Art and in particular by the works of Enrico Castellani, these elegant fiberglass sculptures ? Solstice applique ? and Equinox cocoon-suspension lamp ? reinforce the strong understanding […]
