Designed by Jacques Biny
The table lamp (Biny Table n?231) by Jacques BINY is almost an alien in the lunar world in the luminary world. Some appear like a robot, others as cartoon characters, and still others a radically effective minimalist object. Created in 1958, lights are still very modern. For good reading light, Biny designed it with fins that direct the intense light onto the entirety of the useful area.
Bernard Schottlander was inspired by the praying mantis to create this intruiging and gracious wall lamp. His prototype was done in small size. We have decided to publish it.
The In The Sun collection radiates festive hues of gold and silver in conjunction with softly cast shadows. The result is a very special atmosphere in the rooms they are used to light. Whether wall-mounted, as a ceiling lamp or hanging, the result is consistently magical.
The In The Sun Table is a battery powered cordless table lamp, with a 5 positions switch allowing different levels of light intensity.
